Our revenue model is built on Medi-Cal, ALW, and CalAIM programs — the same programs that healthcare advocates, state legislators, and DHCS have been pushing to expand. Emerald Park is a private-sector partner executing on California's senior care agenda with private capital.
Every dollar invested in Emerald Park flows into a federally designated Opportunity Zone in West Oakland — a community identified by the federal government as needing long-term capital investment. Our development supports local hiring, local contractors, and lasting infrastructure.
Seniors without appropriate assisted living access often cycle through expensive emergency room visits and hospital stays. Emerald Park provides medically appropriate residential care environments that reduce unnecessary hospital utilization and improve health outcomes at lower system cost.
Construction of Emerald Park will employ local contractors, tradespeople, and laborers throughout the 12–16 month build. Operations will create 100+ permanent healthcare jobs — CNAs, LVNs, kitchen staff, activity coordinators, and administrators — in the West Oakland community.
